Care Ministry

The mission of the care ministry is to minister to the local church by providing care, encouragement, support, and prayer.

The vision of the care ministry is to join the Great Shepherd in ministry within the local church to spur on healthy leadership, provide support through life transitions, and minister to the weary and broken-hearted, to point them to the one who can lead them to green pastures.

To make a request to the care ministry, email care@h2osu.org. These requests could include but are not limited to prayer for an individual, sympathy cards/book, baby gifts, meals, etc.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:14-17)
