LGBTQ Bible Study

The church has not always been a space where LGBTQ people can explore their faith and find family, but we want to take steps to change that.

This spring we are starting a Bible study for LGBTQ people on Ohio State’s campus and the surrounding area. This will be a space where LGBTQ people of any or no faith background can come to explore and grow in Christian faith through reading & discussing the Bible with people who have similar life experiences.

The Bible study will not cover sexuality or gender, but will follow a Bible study designed to lead participants into a deeper understanding of God’s Word and a life of following Christ. Though the study won’t specifically cover the Bible and sexuality and gender, if you would like to read more about H2O Church’s position statement on those topics, you can find those here. During the weekly meeting time we will have time to catch up, get to know each other and dig into the “Follow” Bible Study by Andy Stanley.

The Bible study is held every Sunday from 7-8:30p in the Tanya Rutner Hartman Room (third floor, northwest corner in the Ohio Union) and will continue weekly throughout the semester.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Feb 9th the Bible Study will be in the Capital City Room of the Keith B. Key Student Leadership Center
