H2O has been giving to Orphan’s Tree in Russia to help support their peer to peer mentorship program for orphans. So, this Sunday at 11:30am they are going to give us an update! We will hear from the ministry leaders, orphans who are a part of the program and have a question and answer time. Who: Orphan’s Tree and H2O
History:
Founded in 2008, Orphan’s Tree is an alliance of Americans and Russians who want to change life for orphans, ages 16 and older.
We are driven by God’s call to look after orphans and to be a father to the fatherless. While adoption is wonderful, in reality most orphans are never adopted. Orphan’s Tree focuses exclusively on the un-adoptable population. Our role is to be a consistent, positive presence in the lives of orphans whose best opportunity for family is to create healthy families of their own.
H2O started partnering with Orphan’s Tree in 2013 when we took our first trip to Russia with Orphan’s Tree. We went again in 2015 and 2017 and have been giving to the peer to peer mentorship program since 2018. We love partnering with them to meet the needs of orphans.
