Strange Hope | 1 Peter 1:3-9
This series continues the themes of Peter (and the early Church)’s story from Acts. A few decades on, the mission has become even more challenging as local and empirical persecution is on the rise. Peter centers the Christian hope in this: the truth about the identity of the Church, and the Way of Jesus as a continued witness in difficult times. The Gospel mission is an invitation into this glorious identity, and the ongoing hope for those on mission in this broken world is to remember and continually embrace the identity they’ve been invited into.
